Vision Consulting is a London firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors, founded in 2002 and regulated by the ICAEW. We are licensed to conduct audit and probate work and our expertise spans audit and assurance, tax and advisory.

We act for business owners, property investors, and private clients across the UK and internationally. Our clients range from a single residential property owner to directors of major brands.

The firm has been built around long-term client relationships, and most of our new work each year comes through introductions from clients we already act for. That has been the pattern since 2002.

We operate from three offices across the City, the West End, and East London. Our investment in staff training, efficiency, and technology means we can work effectively with clients wherever they are based. We are committed to their business needs, and we take that work personally.

Vision Consulting was founded in 2002 by Ghulam Alahi, who continues to lead the firm as Managing Director.

Prior to establishing his own practice Ghulam qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked at KPMG, where he advised clients in sectors including airlines, technology, media, and telecoms. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Business Finance from Brunel University. He also holds the ICAEW Business and Finance Professional designation.

He has built Vision Consulting into a multi-office London firm acting for business owners, property investors, high-net-worth individuals, and market leaders. Ghulam advises clients whose affairs often sit across more than one area: property, family wealth, tax, succession, and cross-border interests.

For many clients, the question is not simply how to file accounts or complete a tax return. It is how to structure decisions properly, protect assets, deal with HMRC, or plan the next stage of a business or family estate.

He advises private clients including entrepreneurs, company directors and media and sports personalities. His expertise covers strategic tax planning, inheritance tax, cross-border matters, asset protection, governance, and long-term wealth structuring. Ghulam also has experience in property and real estate, advising clients across hotels, care services, HMOs, student accommodation, and prime London real estate. He also acts on more complex commercial and financial matters, including transactions, company reporting, and HMRC tax investigations, including Code of Practice 9 and other fraud-related enquiries.

Alongside his role at Vision Consulting, Ghulam has been Vice-President of West Ham United Women since 2020, and Vision Consulting is the club’s Official Accounting and Auditing Partner. He also has business interests across property and other sectors. This gives him a close understanding of the commercial pressures faced by the business owners and investors the firm advises.
